Hello, I'm Mahim Dwivedi, I'm pursuing Electrical Engineering from DTU.
I'm placed at EXL services.
And I would like to thank Placement Boat for giving me this opportunity to share my interview experience.
EXL is BPO firm.
It looks deeper into existing business models and provides smarter and effective management operation solutions, corporate finance models, etc.
, using digital analytics, brilliant expertise, and higher technology.
I was hired for the post of business analyst.
The placement procedure consisted of a PPT, followed by a written test.
The cut off for the written test was 65%.
The written test comprised 45 questions to be done in 40 minutes.
The topics of the test were similar to that of CAT level, though at a very easier level.
Around 100 students were shortlisted after the written test There were 3 interviews after it.
Now lets come to the interviews.
Thankfully there was no GD's.
There were 3 interview rounds, each of which was a rejection process.
They asked the same questions in all the interviews.
The question asked from me were, "Walk us through your CV", probably the most important according to me.
Why EXL, and some puzzles and guess estimates.
The guess estimates asked from me was how many passengers will travel from Delhi to Mumbai via aeroplane in a single year According to me, they were mainly looking for your interest towards the job.
A little practice of Quant and English from any standard book is very useful.
Prior knowledge of guess estimates and puzzles obviously helps.
In a nutshell, they were looking how much are you serious towards the job and that you have no other serious future plans.
